Who We Are

We at Our Savior Anglican Church believe that in all we do, we are to be a community that expresses and models the love, mercy and grace revealed through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Jesus says “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” We see three things here. First he calls us to follow him, second he changes us, and third he gives us a mission. ~MATTHEW 4:19

Let us recall as Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee;  saw two  fishermen (brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew) casting a net into the sea, and said to them, “Come, follow Me and I will make you fishers of men,” and at once they left their nets and followed Him.

Thus, the phrase, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men,” (Matthew 4:19), implicates several values and spiritualty in the Christian world, but remains one the most significant metaphors or evangelism. We are in this together, and I would use this opportunity to welcome you to the delightful world of Our Savior Anglican Church Houston, Texas.

Our Savior is a family church, and as a body of believers we are called to watch out for each other. Being part of the OSAC community gives us the ability to use our gifts God has given us to build up those around us.

We are an Anglican Church; worshipping and celebrating God freely under traditional orthodox Anglican doctrine and in an environment that is conducive for the upbringing of our children based on Scriptural truth and discipline and our cultural essence. These values harmonizes the order of the Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast under which we exist.

Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast are in the Anglican Church of North America, which comprises of churches in Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.  The Anglican Church in North America unites 112,000 Anglicans in nearly 1,000 congregations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico into a single Church.

This is who we are, where we belong and what we believe in.  I am therefore inviting you to our worship center on 11933 Bissonnet St, Houston. Please join us on Sunday mornings. Bring your friends and family members and stop by to share our love, spiritual  values, an worship moments, and May God Bless You as you do that.
